The Adventurer Paul Higgins is an American living and working in Munich for many years. His passion for craft beer and hobby brewing began in the early days of the craft beer movement in America. Paul is an avid hiker and climber and brings this sense of adventure to artisanal brewing. He combines unusual hops varieties with cultivated yeasts and blends special malts to create unique and refreshing beers bursting with fruity aroma and flavor. "The Keller" Paul's wife decided that their flat was not the best location for him to resume his hobby brewing. She found the perfect location - the basement of a former bakery in Munich's traditional brewing neighborhood of Maxvorstadt. Paul has tested recipes there for more than 2 years. "The Keller" has at last evolved into a nano brewery with capacity for 150L production and room to grow. The pale ales strike the right balance of being heavily hopped for extreme flavor without extreme bitterness.
